Dr. Bobby Parker

Dr. Bobby Parker brings invaluable expertise with over fifty years experience in Texas schools. He currently works as a monitor and conservator under the Governance Division of the Texas Education Agency, consults with low-performing schools, and conducts school board trainings for both charter and ISD boards.

Dr. Parker taught in Austin ISD, served as the Director of Planning and Evaluation in Odessa, was the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum for Sweetwater ISD, and was Superintendent of Schools for over 17 years in Graham ISD and Waxahachie ISD. He also had the opportunity to teach graduate level classes in Educational Administration for Midwestern State University and University of North Texas.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University with teaching fields in Health and Physical Education, Art, and Driver’s Education, a master’s degree with a major in Education also from Baylor, and a Ph.D. from Texas A&M with emphasis in Community and Continuing Education and Educational Administration. Post-doctorate work continued at Texas A&M University, The University of Texas Permian Basin, and Lamar University.
